EDWARDS — Avis M. McGuinness, 54, Edwards, died Wednesday at her home, where she had been under the care of her family and Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley. She had been ill with cancer.

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fowler Baptist Church. A luncheon at the church will follow the service. Burial will be in Hailesboro Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at French Funeral Home
