GLENFIELD — Sylvia H. Hill, 59, of 7808 Stony Lake Road, died Thursday morning at her home after a long illness, under the care of her family and Lewis County Hospice.
She had been ill with multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease.
Mrs. Hill was a homemaker.
Born Feb. 19, 1949, in Lowville, daughter of Francis and Pearl Youngs Hutchins, she attended Port Leyden School.
She married Ward Goodspeed on Nov. 25, 1967, in Port Leyden. He died Oct. 19, 1977.
She married Allen Hill on Oct. 15, 1983, in Port Leyden.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters and a son-in-law, Christine and Steve Dragon, Lyons Falls, and Marsha Goodspeed, Lowville; a stepson, Allen Hill, Little Falls; a stepdaughter, Susan Myers, Port Leyden; five grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Callaghan Funeral Home, Port Leyden, with the Rev. Guy Rocker, pastor of New Covenant Church, Port Leyden, officiating.
Burial will be in Port Leyden Cemetery.
A calling hour will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
