The engagement of Katrina Marie Trozzi to Tyler Campbell Griffith, both of Utica, is announced.

Miss Trozzi, daughter of Katherine and Arthur Trozzi Jr., New Hartford, and granddaughter of Anne and Arthur Trozzi, Utica, and the late Katherine and William Phillips, graduated from New Hartford High School in 1998. She received a bachelor's degree in education in 2002 from SUNY Geneseo and later a master's in education from SUNY Cortland. She is a kindergarten teacher at New Hartford Central School.

Mr. Griffith is the son of Constance and Richard Griffith, New Hartford, and grandson of Mary and Martin Maurer, Lacona, and the late James G. Campbell. He graduated from New Hartford High School in 1997 and received a bachelor's degree in business administration in 2001 from Clarkson University, Potsdam. He is vice president of administration at Sturges Manufacturing in Utica.

An Aug. 16 wedding is planned.
