On May 8 the federal government plans to start turning your state-issued driver's license into a national ID card for your safety. It is not about your safety. It's about control. It is more about Washington, D.C. with Rep. James Sensenbrenner, R-Wis., blowing smoke in your eyes and using mirrors to make you feel they're concerned about your safety. Maybe Congressmen Sensenbrenner and Kirk will issue us fly swatters to go along with their proposed ID cards for our safety because Sens. Hillary Clinton, Charles Schumer, Barack Obama and John McCain and President Bush are for gun control, which gives criminals and terrorists greater safety when attacking you.
