BRASHER FALLS — The St. Lawrence Central Larries easily captured its own softball tournament championship thanks to a combined no-hitter of Potsdam from Sarah and Ashley Thayer. The Larries won the title, 15-0.
Ashley Thayer came on in relief and struck out six batters over the final three innings. Shelby McGraw went 3-for-5 and sparked the offense with three RBIs for St. Lawrence (8-0).
The Sandstoners dropped to 2-5.
ST. LAWRENCE 22, MASSENA 0
Sarah Thayer surrendered just three hits in a complete-game shutout of the Red Raiders in the opening round of the St. Lawrence Central tournament.
Nikki Arquitt went 2-for-3 with a home run, three runs scored and four RBIs. Ashley Thayer connected for two hits and three RBIs for the Larries (8-0).
Massena fell to 4-3.
MASSENA 9, BRUSHTON-MOIRA 1
Marci Silver went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles to lead the Red Raiders in the consolation game of the St. Lawrence Central tournament.
Sierra Streeter earned the win, struck out 16 batters and allowed two hits for Massena (4-3).
Kelsey Manchester singled and scored for Brushton-Moira (2-3).
NORWOOD-NORFOLK 19,
MORRISTOWN 4
The Flyers opened the Bud Rupert Tournament with a dominating win at Madrid.
Kailey Martens earned the win with a complete game, allowing just five hits. Ashley Chapin added a single and a double for Norwood-Norfolk (5-5).
Katie Porter supplied three singles, and Morgan VanArnam added a double for Morristown (2-7).

Megan Barney struck out seven and earned a nonleague victory for the Yellow Jackets in the Bud Rupert Tournament.
Cierra Wells smacked a single and a triple, while Cambray Merrick knocked in one run for Madrid-Waddington (3-4).

Katie Porter recorded seven strikeouts and walked four in a complete-game win for the Green Rockets at the Bud Rupert Tournament. Sara LaBarge scored three times and singled twice for Morristown.
Cambray Merrick had three singles and three runs for Madrid-Waddington.
SOUTH JEFFERSON 10-8, APW 3-3
Ashley Chartrand collected eight hits on the day, going 5-for-5 in game two, to help the Spartans sweep a Frontier League "B" Division doubleheader at Adams Center.
South Jefferson finished with 24 hits and used a seven-run inning in each game to remain unbeaten in the league. Jena LaLone provided three hits in game one, and Danielle Bartlett had a pair of hits in game two. Chartrand also supplied a home run, a triple and five RBIs for South Jefferson (11-3 overall, 7-0 league).
Elyse Russell and Zana Gervaise led the Rebels (5-5, 3-4) in game one with a home run and three hits, respectively. Brooke Radley slugged a homer, while Russell added a pair hits in game two for APW.
LOWVILLE 5-11, GENERAL BROWN 4-4
Meg Kelly drove home the winning run in game one as host Lowville scored twice in the seventh, and swept a "B" Division doubleheader. Chanelle Morse smacked a home run in game two for the Red Raiders (6-3, 4-3), while Jessica Becker and Cheyenne Morse each had three hits. Becker struck out 13 en route to her second victory of the day.
Chelsea Cavellier had two hits, and Chelsea Monroe drove in two runs for the Lions (9-6, 4-4).

Suzy Fazekas hit a two-run, two-out single as the Falcons won game one of the "C" Division doubleheader at Turin. The Vikings rebounded in game two.
Jessica Wiley and Jenna Kraeger fired one-hitters for the Vikings and Falcons, respectively, in the first game.
Thousand Islands (8-1, 7-1) scored the winning runs on a Meghan Julian grounder and a South Lewis error in the fourth in game 2.
Ashley Emerson also provided a two-run single for South Lewis (7-3, 6-2).
WARRIORS SPLIT PAIR
Indian River rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to edge Chester 6-5 in the Mudville Tournament at Herkimer.
Taylor Kubber led off the Indian River seventh with a triple. Melanie Hayes followed with another triple, Felicia French doubled Hayes home, and Erin Brown then singled in the winning run for the Warriors (6-6). French finished 3-for-4, while Kwanisha Jones and Hayes each contributed two hits.
Indian River then lost to Union Springs 8-4. Kubber hit two homers, went 3-for-4 and drove in three runs for Indian River.
