OGDENSBURG — Mary Lawrence came through for Ogdensburg Free Academy, winning her final two events and lifting the Blue Devils to a 159-158 Northern Athletic Conference girls track and field win over Potsdam on Wednesday.
Lawrence won the shot put and discus. Lindsay Drummond took first in the 100 and 400 hurdles as well as the long jump for OFA (2-1).
Kaila Maguire won the 800, 1,500 and 3,000 for the Sandstoners (4-1).
MASSENA TAKES TWO
The Red Raiders downed Salmon River 155-153 and then Clifton-Fine 186-60 in an NAC double-dual meet in Fort Covington. The Shamrocks defeated Clifton-Fine 209-53 in their matchup.
Emily Sullivan won two individual races to lead Massena (2-2). Katie Behrens earned victories in the 100, 200 and 400 for the Red Raiders.
The Shamrocks (1-3) finished first in each of the relay events, and Elizabeth Morrow won the 3,000.
Katherin Donovan was able to get two wins for Clifton-Fine (0-6), in the 400 hurdles and triple jump.
BOYS
MALONE WINS PAIR
The Huskies had little trouble defeating Norwood-Norfolk and Tupper Lake in an NAC double-dual meet in Norwood. Malone topped the Flyers 129-112 and beat the Lumberjacks 191-49. Norwood-Norfolk breezed by Tupper Lake 203-48.
Tyler Wescott had the best showing for Malone, winning the 400 and long jump. He was the only player to earn multiple individual victories for the Huskies (3-0).
Jon Eng led the Flyers (2-1) with victories in the 1,600 and 3,200.
Tupper Lake dropped to 0-3.
OFA 1501/2, CANTON 891/2
Jake Fredericks led the Blue Devils to an NAC triumph over the Golden Bears with three wins in Ogdensburg.
Fredericks won the triple jump, 200 and 400 for OFA (3-0).
Damien Abar won the long jump and 100 for the Golden Bears (0-3).

POTSDAM 62
The Yellow Jackets easily defeated the Sandstoners in an NAC meet thanks to a three-win performance from Aaron Cote in Madrid.
Cote was a member of the winning 3,200 relay, and he won the 400 and triple jump. Cote won the 400 by nearly six seconds over teammate Bart Steinburg with a time of 54.9 seconds for Madrid-Waddington (2-1).
Will Yellot took first in the 1,600. It was the only event won by Potsdam (0-2).
CARTHAGE 71, BEAVER RIVER 70
Dan Steiner won the pole vault and finished second and third in the high jump and triple jump, respectively, as the Comets (3-2) defeated the Beavers in a Frontier League meet at Carthage.
Matt Cheney won the 1,600 and 3,200 for Beaver River (1-4).
CYCLONES SWEEP
Kevin Machia and Gerald Petty each produced two victories as host Watertown defeated South Lewis, 861/2-541/2, and Altmar-Parish-Williamstown, 100-41, in a Frontier League tri-meet.
Machia took the 110 hurdles and 400 hurdles for Watertown (5-0). Petty picked up wins in the shot put and discus.
The Falcons (4-1) also topped the Rebels, 89-52. Kevin Bronson ran to victory in the 400, 800 and 1600 events for South Lewis. Matt Kolodzie (100, 200 and long jump) won three times for APW (3-3).
SPARTANS DOMINATE
Than Harrington won the shot put and discus for South Jefferson, leading the Spartans to wins over Sandy Creek, 132-6, and Indian River, 971/2-431/2, in a Frontier League tri-meet in Philadelphia.
Indian River defeated Sandy Creek 118-20.
Greg Burns won the 1,600 and placed second in the 800 meters for South Jefferson (4-1).
Corey Hall won the long, triple and high jumps for Indian River (1-4).
Sandy Creek dropped to 0-4.
