FORT DRUM — Fort Drum Veterinary Services is celebrating National Pet Week this week with a 5 kilometer fun run and walk Saturday.

The fun run, which will go around Magrath Gym on post, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interested participants should meet at the Magrath Sports Complex at 10 a.m. for the course and a safety briefing.

Registration isn't required for the event, but donations of dry dog or cat food and litter will be accepted. Community members who wish to attend may get on post with a valid identification and vehicle registration.
