■ Iroquois Avenue West will be closed to traffic beginning at 7 a.m. today while city of Watertown Department of Public Works crews repave it. Local residents are asked to park on neighboring streets. The DPW expects to repave Sherman Street next.

■ HENDERSON — The fire hydrants in Water District 1 will be tested and flushed beginning about noon today. Flushing the hydrants may cause a slight water discoloration for a short period. The flushing should be complete by 10 p.m.

■ SACKETS HARBOR — The town of Hounsfield Zoning Board of Appeals will reconvene a variance hearing at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the town barn. The hearing is for Richard M. and Christine Gallinger, 12581 Ridge Road.
