In the interest of justice for the public, I am now publicly demanding to be answered in writing why the state of New York, Bernier and Carr, and the Massena School District are continuing to withhold information from the public on why they personally allowed the criminals from Hygeia of Utica to test our schools when they were under federal indictment for lying about asbestos test results at Clough Elementary School in Rome for 2006. Benny Gladding was accused of illegally removing asbestos in 2006 and 2007 at Massena Central. Hygeia was performing testing here during that time frame and again in 2007 while they were under indictment.
I am still seeking answers to three written questions I presented to the school board three months ago now. Twice I was told they were working on it. At the last school board meeting, I asked the school board if they had the answers to my three questions again. This time they said the attorney has them. I asked when they thought there would be answers. I learned nothing again. In case the public is not aware, Roger Linden is no longer the school's attorney. We have Eric Gustafason for the school district's attorney now. He is also a Massena village judge.
Taxpayers of Massena wouldn't you really like to know where all the $60 million went for the work on these capital projects? Would you like to see behind the scenes how things have been fixed? Mark on your calendar May 20, school vote.
