About $30,000 has been collected thus far from participants of the May 4 MS Walk, sponsored by the clothing company Christopher & Banks.

Kaylea A. Nixon, campaign manager for the Upstate NY Chapter of the National MS Society, said with money still coming in, the $33,000 goal should be met. The money goes to help fund research to find a cure for multiple sclerosis.
