CANTON — A 21-year-old Norfolk man is to be sentenced July 7 after pleading guilty Thursday in St. Lawrence County Court to having sex with an underage girl.

Ricky M. Green,26A W. Main St., Norfolk, pleaded guilty to third-degree rape. He admitted having sex with a 16-year-old girl on April 13.

Also appearing in court was a Hermon man who was charged in February with possessing checks stolen during a Jan. 19 burglary.

Ronnie R. Trombley,20, who was on probation in February as the result of prior convictions for burglary and attempted burglary, denied violating probation and was released under probation supervision pending a hearing.
