CANTON — A Hammond man and his son who were charged in November with having more than 10 pounds of marijuana at their home were indicted Thursday by a St. Lawrence County grand jury.
Christopher M. Roberts,49, and his sonBradley D. Roberts,24, both of 208 River Road, Hammond, were each charged with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana. They are accused of being in possession of slightly more than 10 pounds of marijuana during a search of their home by St. Lawrence County drug task force members Nov. 6.
The grand jury returned two other open indictments and one sealed indictment.
Diana B. Simonds,46, of 6 River St., Massena, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. She is accused of driving with a 0.14 percent blood alcohol content on Nov. 12 on North Raquette River Road, Massena. A level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law.
Christopher J. Neault,28, of 114 Jefferson Ave., Massena, was charged with felony DWI on Nov. 9 on Market Street in Potsdam. His blood alcohol content also was 0.14 percent, according to the indictment.
