The voters in the General Brown School district spoke in a strong, positive voice in March by voting yes to the capital project. On May 20, we will have another opportunity to stay on this positive path by voting yes to the budget.
As a General Brown alumnus, a taxpayer and the parent of an elementary student, I am pleased with the current leadership and direction the district is taking. A yes vote ensures that our children will be provided the necessary supplies, technologies and opportunities that will ultimately give them the essential tools to become contributing members of our society.
Let's put our differences aside for one night and step up for our children. Please vote yes on May 20.
