REDWOOD — John M. Downey Jr., 58, of 43992 Route 37, died Saturday morning of cancer at his home, under the care of his family and Hospice of Jefferson County.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. August 2 at Alexandria Bay American Legion Post 904. Arrangements are with Costello Funeral Home, Alexandria Bay.
