A former DeKalb woman suffered fatal injuries in a traffic accident Sunday on Interstate 26 in Berkeley County, S.C., according to the Charleston Post and Courier.

Amber Noble, 28, North Charleston, S.C., was a passenger in her boyfriend's 1999 Chevrolet pickup at 6:55 p.m., when it crashed. The driver lost control of the pickup as it entered the eastbound lanes near Ridgeville, and it went off the right side of the road and struck several trees, the newspaper reported.

Ms. Noble, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Trident Regional Medical Center in North Charleston, where she died at 10:30 p.m.
