TIMES WASHINGTON BUREAU
WASHINGTON — Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., will visit the north country Tuesday for the first time since leaving the presidential race.
Mrs. Clinton plans to meet with a wounded-warriors unit at Fort Drum in the afternoon, then conduct a forum with the Greater Watertown Chamber of Commerce, her office reported.
In the morning, she is scheduled to visit Rouse's Point in Clinton County.
Mrs. Clinton, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, has been a repeat visitor to Fort Drum but was absent during her presidential run. She has advocated for improved care for soldiers, playing a key role in legislation following the scandal at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
