Syracuse University's women's ice hockey program announced the schedule Thursday for the team's inaugural season in College Hockey America.
The 34-game schedule includes 13 home games to be held at the Tennity Ice Skating Pavilion and four at the Onondaga County War Memorial arena.
The Orange's first game comes against Colgate at 7 p.m. Oct. 1 in Hamilton. Syracuse also will face the 2008 Frozen Four finalists when it travels to the Kohl Center for a two-game set against Wisconsin at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 and at noon Oct. 4.
Syracuse's home opener will be against Sacred Heart at 7 p.m. Oct. 31.
The Orange will be coached by former St. Lawrence women's hockey coach and Canton native Paul Flanagan.
