Carthage school board to hold illegal session

GREAT BEND — After a brief open session Monday to approve several appointments and resignations, the Carthage Central School District is expected to go into an illegal executive session to interview candidates for the vacant board seat.

This meeting is a week after another meeting, with the same purpose, was canceled due to a death in the family of a board member.

The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the district office at Great Bend.
