The Watertown Daily Times will publish on its Web site, through the completion of the Democratic National Convention, a blog written by Ryan Sharpstene, a senior at South Lewis Central School, Turin.

Mr. Sharpstene, 16, lives in Lyons Falls, where his parents operate a restaurant. Mr. Sharpstene is involved in the music, soccer and track programs at South Lewis. After high school, he plans to major in journalism and political science in college.

He is in Denver as part of the Junior Statesmen of America program, which provided a grant for him to attend the convention.
