Michael A. Gentile, 21, Bangor, Wash., formerly of Watertown

The funeral and calling hours for Petty Officer 3rd Class Michael Allen Gentile, 21, Bangor, Wash., formerly of Watertown, will be Wednesday in Fairfield, Maine. Burial will be Thursday in Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta, Maine.

Mr. Gentile was killed Sunday in an accident aboard the submarine USS Nebraska, near Oahu, Hawaii, where he was serving as a machinist’s mate.
