A Lacona man was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a property-damage accident at 12:14 a.m. Sunday at 743 Huntington St., Watertown.
City police additionally charged Jason W. Gamble, 25, of 4696 County Route 22, with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unsafe backing and second-degree obstructing governmental administration early Sunday.
Mr. Gamble was found at 12:53 a.m. Sunday at 204 Factory St., where he was arrested without incident, police said.
However, he allegedly refused to submit to fingerprinting during the booking process at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, Watertown, leading to the obstruction charge.
Mr. Gamble was arraigned before Watertown Town Justice James P. McClusky and jailed on $1,500 bail. No further information on the property-damage accident was provided by police.
He was charged with felony DWI due to two prior DWI convictions within the past 10 years, both in 2006, police said.
