Five facing charges of drunken driving

The following are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

■ Blake A. Williams, 25, of 975 Judson St., Canton, also was charged Sunday with several traffic violations after being stopped on East Main Street, Canton village police said. His blood alcohol content wasn't available.

■ Jonathan L. Lavoie, 26, of 4431 Route 11, Mooers Forks, was charged Sunday after being stopped in the town of Burke, state police said. His BAC wasn't available.

■ Brett J. Rousell, 21, of 15 Frederick St., Malone, also was charged Sunday with making an unsafe lane change after being stopped on Route 11B in the town of Bangor, state police said. He registered a 0.15 percent BAC, police said. State law establishes 0.08 percent BAC as the threshold for intoxication.

■ Gary E. Tavernia, 42, of 1297 County Route 24, Malone, was charged Sunday after being stopped on County Route 24 in the town of Bellmont, state police said. He refused to submit to a breath test, police said.

■ Harold F. Martin III, 22, of 9851 Route 56, Lot 41, Massena, was charged Sunday after being stopped on Route 56 in the town of Louisville, state police said. He registered a 0.12 percent BAC, police said.

Charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs:

■ Scott M. Parker, 29, of 2244 California Road, Gouverneur, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana after being stopped on Route 58 in the town of Macomb, state police said.
