After offers from an Aug. 31 auction fell through, two pieces of lakefront property were sold in November.

Heart Stone Cottage, owned by Elizabeth B. "Lee" and William C. Couch Jr., and its surrounding 7.9 acres on Route 123, Henderson Harbor, were sold to Watertown dentist Peter M. Virga and Janicca L. Clark-Virga for $668,000.

Lion's Head, Route 12E, owned by Ted and Mary M. Mascott, with an accompanying 15.6 acres, was sold for $1.4 million to Harold Hambrose and Johanna Hambrose, Philadelphia, Pa.

The sales were handled by Woltz & Associates, Roanoke, Va. James L. Woltz, president, said those sales brought the auction total to more than $4.4 million.
