Woman cited with hitting her cousin at Christmas party

CLAYTON — A woman who allegedly slapped her cousin in the face during a family Christmas party here Saturday night is summoned to town of Clayton Court to face a harassment charge, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department

Melissa M. Wainwright, 36, County Route 191, Wellesley Island, acted out while taking exception to a comment made by her cousin, Charlene J. Davis, 39, LaFargeville, deputies said. The party was at another cousin's house on Windward Cliffs Lane.
