The answer to yesterday's NAME THAT MOVIE is The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Jude Seymour, Martha Ellen and Sarah Rivette answered correctly.
The Nightmare Before Christmas. Rated: PG.
One-minute review: If you haven't already seen it, you certainly know about it. It is still the best stop-motion film of all-time. It revolutionized that form of animation and has a great story about the king of Halloween, Jack, accidentally falling into Christmas Town. He discovers its joys, but when he tries to bring it back to Halloween, the results are catastrophic. He eventually has to to fill the role of Santa Clause. Top-10 Thursday
Here is my Top-10 list for Dark Comedies. Some you love, some you haven't seen but want to and a few you know nothing about. These are real Dark Comedies, no borderline stuff. If you think one is missing or you have your own list, e-mail me, and I will publish it next Thursday. Last Week's Top-10: Based on a True Story
It was interesting to see the obvious pattern of directors and actors I like for dark comedies. I knew I liked them, but when I put this list together they really stand out. Enjoy.
