Several motorists cited with drunken driving

The following are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

■ Celena A. Gilman, 30, of 452 County Route 46, Lot 1, Massena, was charged Tuesday following an accident on Brouse Road in the town of Norfolk, state police said. She also was cited with failure to keep right. She registered a 0.15 percent blood alcohol content, police said. State law establishes 0.08 percent BAC as the threshold for intoxication.

■ Aaron L. Maslin, 21, of 513 County Route 44, Chase Mills, also was charged Tuesday with trespassing when he was stopped at 608 Brouse Road, Norfolk police said. He registered a 0.13 percent BAC, according to police.

■ Michael E. Pearl, 54, Colton, was charged Wednesday after being stopped on Route 56 in the town of Colton, state police said. His blood alcohol content was 0.11 percent, they said.

■ Stuart R. McCallen, 22, of 1743 Route 420, Massena, also was charged Thursday with several traffic infractions after being stopped on Route 11C in the town of Brasher, state police said. He registered a 0.10 percent BAC, troopers said.

■ Christopher J. Bresett, 48, Ogdensburg, was charged Tuesday after being stopped on Route 812 in the town of Oswegatchie, state police said. His BAC was not available.

■ Wayne L. Deshane, 45, Westville, was charged Friday after state police stopped his vehicle on County Route 19 in the town of Fort Covington. Troopers said he had a BAC of 0.13 percent.

■ Dawn A. Schrak, 26, St. Regis, Quebec, was charged Thursday with aggravated DWI after being stopped on Mill Street in the town of Norfolk, state police said. She registered a 0.19 percent BAC, troopers said. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more.

■ Whitney J. Bonner, 26, Constable, was charged Saturday by state police on Route 11B in the town of Bangor after being pulled over for allegedly talking on his cell phone while driving. His BAC was 0.11 percent, state police said.

■ Mary E. Dayson, 23, Watertown, was charged early Saturday by Potsdam village police, who pulled over her vehicle for an improper left turn on Elm Street. She had a BAC of 0.13 percent, police said.

■ William A. Cannell, 21, Canton, was charged by state police at 1:49 a.m. Saturday on North Jefferson Street in Pulaski.

■ Douglas Laquay, 40, of 6758 Number Four Road, Lowville, was arrested at his residence by state police at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and also was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to keep right. A blood test was taken to determine his alcohol level, police said.

The accident occurred on Pine Grove Road in the town of Watson, where a vehicle was driven away after it struck a snowbank, police said.

Among auto debris found at the scene was the front license plate for Mr. Laquay's car, police said.

■ Christopher J. Leone, 23, of 521 Stone St., Watertown, initially was cited with crossing hazard markings after a state trooper halted him shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday on Coffeen Street in Watertown. He tested at 0.10 percent BAC, police said.

■ Benjamin A. Felshaw, 28, no address provided, also was charged by state police with failure to keep right at 10:42 p.m. Thursday on Fish Creek Road in the town of Lewis. He allegedly had a BAC of 0.17 percent.

■ Bruce E. Altmire, 59, Route 812, Lowville, also was charged by state police with having an inadequate exhaust at 1:45 a.m. Friday on Number Four Road in the town of Watson. He allegedly had a BAC of 0.12 percent.

■ James D. French, 56, of 11686 Route 812, Harrisville, was arrested by state police at 12:05 a.m. Friday on Route 812 in the town of Diana, where he additionally was accused of speeding at 68 mph in a 55-mph speed zone. He refused to take a breath test, police said.

■ Kathleen M. Kraeger, 43, of 3114 West St., Constableville, also was cited at 6:30 p.m. Thursday with having a loud exhaust and having an open alcoholic beverage container on Route 12 in the town of Martinsburg, state police said. She tested at 0.08 percent BAC, police said.

■ Brian D. Kimball, 28, Fox Hollow Run, Evans Mills, also was charged by state police with driving across hazard markings at 3:09 a.m. Saturday on Route 11 in the town of LeRay. He allegedly had a BAC of 0.11 percent.

■ Cody J. Amidon, 17, Turin, also was charged by state police with failure to keep right, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle and driving with an improper license at 3:30 a.m. Saturday on Pine Grove Road in the town of Greig.

■ Troy A. Bigelow, 34, Natural Bridge, was charged by state police with felony DWI at 1:52 a.m. Saturday on Route 3 in the town of Diana. The felony charge stems from a prior DWI conviction within the past 10 years.

■ Frederick H. Williams, 39, Mannsville, was charged by state police at 11:22 p.m. Friday on Route 3 in the town of Sandy Creek. He allegedly had a BAC of 0.15 percent.

■ Jennifer R. Derouin, 35, Brownville, was charged by state police at 9:20 p.m. Saturday on County Route 53 in the town of Brownville.

■ Dawn M. Eastman, 39, Watertown, also was charged by state police with crossing hazard markings at 3:20 a.m. Sunday on Route 11 in the town of Watertown.

■ Ernest B. Tanner, 60, Sandy Creek, was charged by state police at 9:08 p.m. Saturday on Route 3 in the town of Sandy Creek.

■ Robert G. Arnold, 49, Johnson City, was charged by state police at 11:18 p.m. Saturday on County Route 15 in the town of Sandy Creek.

■ Sheena M. Durham, 25, Rodman, was charged by state police at 3:30 a.m. Saturday on High Street in Watertown.
