Police charge woman, teen with driving while drunk

Two people have been charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses.

■ Richelle M. Mrazek, 27, Chesterfield, Mich., was arrested by Watertown police on Public Square at 12:50 a.m. Sunday and faces additional charges of leaving the scene of an accident, failure to keep right and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.

She had continued to drive after hitting a street sign, police said.

Her breath test reading was 0.17 percent blood alcohol content, police said.

Under state law, 0.08 percent constitutes intoxication.

■ Cody J. Amidon, 17, Turin, also is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, violating restrictions of his license, failure to keep right, consuming an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle and underage possession of an alcoholic beverage, according to state police.

He was arrested at 3:40 a.m. Saturday on Pine Grove Road in the town of Greig, where he was found having four teenage passengers, two boys and two girls, who had consumed alcoholic beverages, police said.

His BAC tested at 0.13 percent, police said.
