Five NNY motorists accused of driving while intoxicated

The following face charges of driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

■ Christopher M. Parker, 26, Lyons Falls, was charged by state police with aggravated DWI, failure to keep right and having loud exhaust at 11:10 p.m. Sunday at Route 12 and West Main Street in Port Leyden.

Police said Mr. Parker had a blood alcohol level of 0.18 percent, equaling the state's threshold for aggravated DWI; state law establishes 0.08 percent BAC as the threshold for intoxication.

■ David A. Bennett Jr., 28, South State Street, Lowville, also is cited with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to keep right following an accident at 1:40 a.m. Saturday in which his eastbound vehicle went off Otter Creek Road in the town of Greig and overturned, according to state police.

Mr. Bennett's test result was 0.16 percent BAC, according to the police.

■ Buddy R. Graham, 26, of 297 N. Indiana Ave., Apt. B, Watertown, was arrested by Watertown police at 4:40 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Bronson Street, where he additionally was cited with failure to keep right.

He refused to take a breath test, police said.

■ Royal F. Snyder Jr., 37, of 19 High St., Dickinson, was charged Sunday with aggravated driving while intoxicated and several traffic infractions after being stopped on High Street in Dickinson, state police said.

He registered a 0.28 percent BAC, troopers said.

■ Brian M. Fournier, 25, of 14219 Route 30, Malone, also was charged Sunday with several traffic infractions after being stopped on Taylor Road in Bangor, state police said.

Mr. Fournier registered a 0.10 percent BAC, troopers said.
