One-minute review: This is one of my personal favorite, although most people agree that it isn't a great film. It is allegedly loosely based on "Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Saligner. Nothing in the credits confirm it despite obvious connections and references to the book. It's a solid character-driven movie that is intellectual and, at times, emotional. Add to Netflix queue, Add to Blockbuster queue.
