Three indicted for break-in, damage at Colton apartment

CANTON — Three men were indicted Thursday by a St. Lawrence County grand jury on charges of breaking into a Colton apartment and damaging it.

Matthew Klemko, 21, of 3932 Route 56, South Colton,Nicholas Perry, 20, of 846 Cold Brook Drive, Colton, andSherri Vaisey, 20, of 521 Wildwood Road, Colton, are charged with felony second-degree burglary. Mr. Perry was also charged with misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal mischief.

All three were accused of breaking into Wesley Frank's apartment on Route 56 on May 24. Mr. Perry was also accused of causing about $1,400 in damage to the apartment, which is owned by Brenda Boyce.

The grand jury also returned indictments against the following:

Brian A. Lazore, 32, of 427 Cook Road, Akwesasne, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana.

He is accused of having about 81/2 pounds of marijuana in his car after Gouverneur village police stopped him Dec. 4 for talking on a cell phone while driving.
