Redwood teenager injured critically in one-car accident

A 17-year-old Redwood resident is listed in critical condition at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, with internal injuries and possible head trauma after a one-car accident on County Route 192 about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Daniel Carrasquillo, 28793 Butterfield Lake Road, lost control of a 2005 Kia Sedona when he failed to negotiate a curve while northbound, police said.

The vehicle struck numerous trees, overturned and landed on its hood. There were no other occupants.

The investigation is continuing, police said.
