Theresa man cited with rape

A Theresa man has been indicted on rape and incest charges for allegedly having forcible sexual intercourse with a teenage relative.

Keith A. Clark Jr.,48, of 33458 Drake Road, faces counts of first-degree rape and third-degree incest in a grand jury indictment handed up Thursday in Jefferson County Court.

It is alleged that on Jan. 1 he had sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old female relative in the town of LeRay.

In other indictments handed up Thursday:

James E. Hudson, 49,an inmate at Great Meadow Correctional Facility, Comstock, faces two counts of second-degree assault for allegedly injuring two corrections officers while incarcerated at Cape Vincent Correctional Facility in 2007.

Matthew W. Ottman,19, town of Pamelia, is charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. It is alleged that on Nov. 12 he knowingly possessed a Home Depot credit card belonging to Jeffrey Fitchette.

The grand jury also returned two prosecutor's informations bringing misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child against two men. It is alleged thatAndrew J. Radtke,22, had sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl on June 29 at an apartment on West Main Street and thatJoshua M. Maitland,21, had sexual contact with the same girl two days later at North Watertown Cemetery.

The men initially were charged by Watertown police with third-degree rape, but the grand jury found insufficient evidence to support the felony charge.

The grand jury also returned three sealed indictments.
