South Jeff board approves budget to put to voters

ADAMS CENTER — The South Jefferson Central School District Board of Education approved the budget it will put to voters May 19 at its regular meeting Monday.

The proposed budget includes no increase in the tax levy, an increase in overall spending of just under 2 percent over the current year, and moderate cuts to equipment, faculty professional development, remedial services, sports programs and technology purchases and contracts.
