HARRISVILLE — State police say a tavern owner is accused of threatening to kill three sisters who tried to call police to report a fight at his bar.

Thomas A. Crane, 43, Route 812, is charged with three counts of second-degree harassment in connection with a skirmish that broke out March 14 in his Red Pine Bar on Route 812. He and two other people are summoned to appear in town of Diana Court.

John Bennett, 30, of 636 Route 3, Pitcairn, is charged with third-degree assault and two counts of harassment, and Amy J. McGill, 32, same address, faces two counts of harassment.

Police said a fight broke out in the building when Jaimie Salcido, 25, Edwards, bumped into Ms. McGill while they were dancing. Mr. Bennett allegedly grabbed Miss Salcido by the shirt and threw her out of the tavern, police said.

The two women resumed their scuffle outdoors, police said. Mr. Bennett attacked Miss Salcido's brother-in-law, Tristan Friesen, 24, Fort Drum, police alleged.

Miss Salcido and her sisters, Marianne Salcido Friesen, 19, and Christina N. Salcido, 24, Potsdam, attempted to call police. Mr. Crane tried to stop them by allegedly grabbing each one of them, slapping Christina, and making the death threats, according to police.
