A LaFargeville man was sentenced Wednesday in Jefferson County Court to 10 years' probation for having lewd photos of an underage girl.
Aaron R. Thompson,20, County Route 16, also was ordered to register with the state as a Level 1 sexual offender for a Feb. 28 guilty plea to possession of an obscene sexual performance by a child.
He admitted at the time of the plea to possessing lewd photographs of females under age 11 on Sept. 12 in the town of Alexandria.

Ronald F. Gowing,43, of 233 Palmer St., was sentenced to three years' probation for March 13 guilty pleas to second-degree criminal contempt and third-degree assault as a result of separate incidents. He admitted at the time of the pleas that he assaulted Rugent B. Pleasant by striking him with a wooden stick during a Jan. 7 altercation on Olive Street. He also admitted he violated an order of protection held by his girlfriend, Margaret Lolar-Cusson, by arguing with her Jan. 15 on Lansing Street.
Troy M. Hague,30, New York City, who listed a local address of 677 Bronson St., was sentenced to three years' probation for a March 2 guilty plea to fourth-degree attempted grand larceny. He admitted at the time of the plea to stealing DVDs and electronic games from an Academy Street residence Jan. 6. He also was ordered to pay $825 in restitution.
Stallone B. Sylvester,23, Osh-awa, Ontario, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and subsequently was sentenced to time served and a one-year conditional discharge and was assessed a total of $1,000 in fines and court surcharges. He admitted he had 30 Ecstasy tablets Nov. 18 at U.S. Customs on Wellesley Island.
Michael O. Cloutier,24, Calcium, pleaded guilty by mail to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to a six-month conditional discharge. He also paid $609 in restitution up front. He and two other Fort Drum soldiers were charged Aug. 24 with kicking and punching a vehicle owned by Michelle R. Lamoreaux, Theresa, causing more than $250 worth of damage.
Rachelle J. Moyer,20, of 9148 General Pike Loop, Apt. D, Fort Drum, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree attempted grand larceny, fifth-degree insurance fraud, third-degree falsely reporting an incident and second-degree identity theft as a result of three incidents. She faces up to five years' probation at sentencing June 5.
She admitted to attempted grand larceny for using a credit card belonging to Ashley N. McComas to pay a $525 cable bill on Sept. 8. She also admitted to insurance fraud and falsely reporting an incident for reporting to state police July 22 that her wedding ring, valued at $1,220, had been stolen when she actually had sold it. She further admitted to identity theft by using another woman's Social Security number to obtain 15 credit cards and making purchases on three of the cards.
Robin D. Morehouse,57, of 47834 Route 37, Redwood, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Sentencing was set for June 5. He admitted possessing a switchblade knife Feb. 3 at the Department of Social Services building, 250 Arsenal St.
Robert J. Fountain Jr.,47, of 90094 Dogwood Drive, Theresa, pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal mischief. Sentencing was set for June 5. He admitted causing more than $1,500 in damage to a swimming pool and tires belonging to Susan Hunter, town of Alexandria, in August 2007.
Justin A. Chubb,20, Car-thage, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Sentencing was set for June 5. He admitted to possessing more than 25 grams of marijuana Jan. 31 in West Carthage.
Harley P. Sanders,33, Carthage, pleaded guilty to failure to comply, a traffic violation. He was fined $120. Charges of felony driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest contained in a grand jury indictment handed up in November were dismissed.
It was alleged in the indictment that he ignored a police officer's directions to stop his vehicle May 21 on South James Street in Carthage. As the officer tried to place him in handcuffs for alleged DWI, it was claimed he pulled away from the officer. His plea cancels a trial that was scheduled for next week in the matter.
