Two men cited with drunken driving

Andrew M. France, 30, of 442 Cousintown Road, Canton, was charged Saturday with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and not wearing a helmet when he was stopped on Catherine Street in the town of Hermon riding an all-terrain vehicle, St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies said. He registered a 0.18 percent blood alcohol content, matching the state's threshold for aggravated DWI; 0.08 percent BAC is the threshold for DWI.

In a separate incident, David W. Burke, 30, of Potsdam, was charged Sunday with DWI and failure to use designated lane when he was stopped on Pierrepont Avenue, Potsdam village police said. He registered a 0.12 percent BAC.
