A man drove while drunk early Wednesday when he went to his estranged wife's home in Adams Center, where he violated her order of protection, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.
Ricki R. Hollenbeck, 52, of 15529 County Route 63, Adams Center, was arrested at 1:10 a.m. on charges of second-degree criminal contempt and driving while intoxicated. Deputies alleged he violated stay-away terms of a Family Court order of protection by initially telephoning Pamela R. Hollenbeck several times, and then by going to her residence at 14010 North St. in Adams Center.
He registered 0.10 percent blood alcohol content on a breath test, deputies said. State law establishes 0.08 percent BAC as the threshold for intoxication.
Mr. Hollenbeck was released on $500 bail, set by Adams Town Justice Donald B. Shaw.
