A Brasher Falls man faces more federal charges for allegedly making child pornography.

Richard P. Russell Jr., 36, of 974 Route 11C, was charged Thursday in a superseding indictment with producing child pornography. He is accused of videotaping the sexual abuse of then 9- and 10-year-old boys last year. He will be arraigned later this month on the new charges.

He was charged in September for allegedly videotaping the sexual abuse of a then 14-year-old boy in 2003.

A state police investigation in August found he inappropriately touched two teenage boys, ages 9 and 10, and took pictures of them in sexual positions from May to July 2008.

A search warrant executed Aug. 12 by state police investigators at his home reportedly found he had videotaped the sexual abuse of a boy in 2003, federal court records said. The boy, now 19, told investigators then that Mr. Russell had sexually abused him.
