Five NNY motorists charged with driving while intoxicated

The following are charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

■ Kwang S. Anderson, 30, Fort Drum, faces additional charges of endangering the welfare of a child, failure to keep right and making an unsafe turn as a result of her arrest at 11:10 p.m. Saturday by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies on Route 12F in the town of Hounsfield. The woman, who had her 10-year-old son riding with her, refused to take a breath test, according to the sheriff's office.

■ Jordy R. Reif, 23, Potsdam, also was charged Sunday with failure to keep right when he was stopped on Maple Street, Potsdam village police said. He registered a 0.15 percent blood alcohol content. State law establishes 0.08 percent BAC as the threshold for intoxication.

■ Keith Collins, 50, Sandy Creek, was charged by state park police at 1 a.m. Monday on Route 12 in the town of Alexandria after initially being cited with speeding at 55 mph in a 40-mph speed zone. Police listed his test result as 0.12 percent BAC.

■ Ilene R. Pepper, 35, Constableville, was arrested on Route 12 in the town of Denmark at 2:40 a.m. Sunday, according to state police. Her breath test reading was 0.13 percent BAC, police said.

■ Brian M. Dehart, 29, Martinsburg, was arrested at 3:20 a.m. Sunday by state police on Utica Boulevard in Lowville. Police said he refused to take a breath test.
