Fay A. Dewey

NORTH LAWRENCE — Fay Adrian Dewey, 62 of Wilmington, VT, formerly of North Lawrence, NY, died June 22 at the VA Medical Center in White River Junction, VT after a lengthy illness.

Surviving are sons Heath (Kelly), Tucson, AZ and Adrian, Whitingham, VT. He also is survived by his mother, Mavis Dewey, Kent, NY. Siblings Sandra (Bernard) Allen, Hartford, CT; Dale (Loraine) Dewey, Moria, NY; Pamela (Roland) Collins, Grand Bay, AL; Belva (Jean Marc ) M'Vemba, Halifax, Vt; Mavis Williams, Kent, NY; Hubert Dewey, Oak Grove, MO; Kevin Dewey, Chicopee, MA. He also had many more relatives and friends.

Fay was predeceased by his father Hubert (Cy) Dewey.

He cherished time spent with his family and he was always ready and willing to help anyone at any time. Fay enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved the great outdoors and was an avid Indian folklore enthusiast. May the hawks guide him and eagles carry him along his journey.

There will be no calling hours and private services will be held at the family's convenience.
