Marjorie E. Coe

MASSENA — Committal services for Marjorie E. Coe, 90, of Leesburg, Fla., will be Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery, Massena. Mrs. Coe died Saturday (June 6, 2009) at Leesburg Health and Rehab Center in Leesburg, Fla.

Mrs. Coe was born Aug. 26, 1918 in Massena, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Perry) King. Marge is survived by her loving son and daughter in law, Walter and Judy Coe of The Villages, Fla.; a brother, Charles Leon King of Mount Dora, Fla.; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Coe; daughter, Joan M Coe; eight brothers and sisters.

She graduated from Massena High School and as a student won the New York State Bookkeeping Competition. Marge retired from B.O. Kinney Drug Store in Massena where she worked for over 25 years. For the past several years she lived with her son and daughter in law in The Villages, Fla.

She enjoyed golf and made a hole in one at age 78. In recent years, she enjoyed going to The Villages Town Squares to watch the line dancers and daily rides around the neighborhood on her adult-tricycle.
