Gregory Varney Sr.

Gregory R. Varney Sr., 59, of 214 S. Indiana Ave., Watertown died June 25, 2009.

Arrangements are with the Bruce Funeral Home, Black River.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, June 30th, at 10:00 am at the funeral home.

He was born on January 27, 1950, in Watertown,NY, son of Robert E. Varney Sr. and Beatrice C. Brown, he attended General Brown High School.

Mr. Varney worked in the foundry, at the NY Air Brake, as a journeyman molder for 27 years.

Among his survivors are five sons and a daughter in law, Gregory R. Varney Jr., Watertown, Guy R. and Rebecca Varney, Springfield,MO, Scott C. Varney, Taylormills, Kentucky, Shannon J. and Adam R. Varney both of Felts Mills; a brother, Robert E. Varney Jr., Redwood; a sister and brother in law, Lisa Ann and Bernard Spencer, Dexter, three grandsons, two granddaughters, several nieces and nephews.
