LITTLE FALLS — Dennis Hill pitched eight strong innings and Brett Botsford supplied three hits as the Watertown Wizards defeated the Mohawk Valley Diamond Dawgs 8-2 in New York Collegiate Baseball League action Sunday night at Veterans Park.
Watertown scored three runs on only two hits in the sixth inning. The Wizards added four runs in the eighth to seal the win as Justin Riddel homered, Brant Jones singled in a run and Pat Bisserta contributed a two-run double.
The Wizards are on the road again today for a doubleheader at Glens Falls beginning at 5 p.m.
