Senators disrespectful

The picture in the Wednesday Watertown Daily Times and Syracuse Post-Standard showing our esteemed Democratic senators remaining seated while our Republican senators pledged allegiance to the flag of our country made me horrified. How very childish and disrespectful of those senators.

In school our children are taught respect for our flag. What a shame these elected officials can be so brazen as to just sit there and disrespect our flag.

Our New York state is in enough of a mess, and to think we have these people as our so-called leaders is abominable.

It's time they straightened up and started doing the job that they took an oath to do. You or I would not get paid if we didn't do our job. This state cannot operate on arguments.
