Cross Island Farms hosting food event

COLLINS LANDING — Cross Island Farms will host a cooking demonstration and wine tasting from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. July 8 at the farm, 44301 Cross Island Road, Wellesley Island.

The event is free and open to the public. Coyote Moon Vineyards, 17371 County Route 3, Clayton, will provide samples of its wines beginning at 4:30 p.m. At 5:30, there will be a demonstration of charcoal grilling techniques using Cross Island Farms' certified organic pork, chevon and vegetables. After the food is grilled, samples will be available for tasting.
