Patsy L. Smith

GOUVERNEUR — Patsy L. Smith, age 55, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009, at his home.

There are no calling hours or funeral services. Arrangements are with Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur.

Mr. Smith was born June 18, 1954 in Gouverneur, the son of the late William and Retha Hitchman Smith.

He was a construction worker most of his life. He enjoyed gambling, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He married Victoria Yerdon on July 4, 2002 .

He is survived by his wife, 3 daughters Patricia and David Jones, Cora and Mike Worden of Gouverneur, Brandy and Mark Snyder of Watertown,2 sons Mike and Krissy O'Riley, Patrick and Carrie Smith of Gouverneur, and 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 4 brothers Denver of South Carolina, Jimmy of Newburgh, Mark of Gouverneur, and Holly of Florida, 3 sisters Joanne Rose and Pansy Bowhall of Gouverneur and Sally Matejcik of South Carolina, several nieces and nephews.
