Joseph C. Stevens

Joseph Charles Stevens, 80, of Kinston, N.C., passed away on Friday, June 26, 2009. He has worked for the Galaxy of Sports since 1991.

Since retirement from the military of 21 years in the Air Force he has worked for the US Postal Service and several bowling centers in Watertown, NY. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy Casler Stevens; three daughters, Jo Ann Salter and husband Richard, Cathie Morgan and companion Ray Ingham, and Carol Stevens all of Kinston; son Joseph Stevens II and wife Melanie of Watertown, NY; two sisters Barbara Forbes of Minnesota, and Doris Ritter of Ayden, brother Decil Stevens; grandchildren Amy Howard and husband Greg, Kim Price and husband Stephen, Kevin Stevens and wife Tracy, Michael Stevens and wife Sumer, Erik Stevens and wife Jennifer, Jed Morgan and wife Bobbie, Jesse Morgan and wife Dannielle, and Michelle Stevens; twenty great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
