A man is jailed after city police say he threatened a woman with a knife and used her stolen credit card in an attempt to buy a bus ticket to Tampa, Fla.
Samuel P. Wyatt, 22, of 667 Fairbanks St., is charged with menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. With bail set at $5,000 by Watertown City Judge James C. Harberson, he was being held in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building.
Police documents allege that he held a knife to the throat of Danae L. Horace, same address, about 9 a.m. Tuesday and then attempted to buy the bus ticket Wednesday afternoon.
