On June 30, the Lowville Council of Churches Food Pantry moved from the Methodist Church basement in Lowville to 7636 North State St., Lowville. The new location is where the former Boys and Girls Club of Lowville and later Crop, Paper and Scissors were located.

This letter is to inform the public in need of the new location, and I want to sincerely acknowledge everyone who assisted in any way with helping us move to our new location. The word for assistance was put out through the Council of Churches and approximately 50 people donated their time, effort and use of their vehicles or equipment. It was truly gratifying to have such a response. The many hands made for light work, and our move was accomplished in a matter of hours.
