Country has strayed from God's teachings

What is going on in our country anyway? My hope was shattered when the Democrats wouldn't stand up when the Republicans were singing a patriotic song. Our patriotic people should be disgusted with our legislators and vote them out of office when their term is up or before. They are a poor example and a disgrace for our young people.

What are the people of the world thinking about this incident, and how will it affect them and us?

In my opinion our country has left its foundation. We have left God and his teachings out of our affairs. We don't abide by the laws that are on the books. If we would consider one of the commandments laid down by our Lord, what a change it would have on our nation. "Thou shall not covet."

A lot of cheaters in our country have a big voice in running our government, and it appears we are out of control. It's not too late to change things, if we would repent of our doings and get on board the way that has been forever settled in heaven by God.
